Informal Uniform:
DMS Choir t-shirt
Shirt must be clean with no wrinkles
Blue jeans
Jeans must be BLUE and should not have writing, holes or tears on them.
Dark Colored Shoes
Shoes must be closed toed
No Heels
*Every choir student must have the informal uniform*
Sixth Graders:
Formal Uniform:
6th graders will not have a formal uniform
Seventh & Eigth Graders:
Boys:
Tux Shirt
Tux shirt will be assigned to student and MUST be returned at the end of the school year
Shirt must be clean and pressed for each performance
Tux Vest
A tux vest will be provided to each student and MUST be returned at the end of the school year.
Black Tux Pants
Black tux pants will be assigned to student and MUST be returned at the end of the school year
Pants must be clean and pressed for each performance
Black dress shoes
The student will be responsible for acquiring a pair of black dress shoes NO tennis shoes
Black dress socks
The student will be responsible for acquiring a pair of BLACK dress socks
Socks must be black and long…NO white socks and NO ankle socks
Girls:
Long black dress
A long black dress will be provided to each student and MUST be returned at the end of the school year.
The dress must be wrinkle free for each performance
Black flats
The student will be responsible for acquiring a pair of black flats NO tennis shoes
For performances, all hair and bangs must be groomed and secured away from the face.
Hair accessories must be the same color as the students’ hair and not distracting.
Perfume / cologne should never be worn to performances.
Deodorant should always be worn to performances.
No jewelry is to be worn to performances.
If there is an issue in regard to the uniform, please inform the choir directors.
Note: Each student who receives a formal uniform from the school district will be responsible for its care. Just like a textbook, if the uniform is damaged or lost, they must pay for its replacement (girls- $65.00 for dresses; boys - $20.00 for vest, $35.00 tux pants $20.00 for tux shirts.)
